King Louii

Almost like a hottub

Today we met the Johnsons at King Louii, an indoor playground in Lübeck. Wonderfully we had the place practically to our selves. We were able to explore all the slides, jungle gyms, trampolines and carousels without the threat over bearing overrun by overbearing bigger kids.

The favorites were the red slide in the under 4 area and of course the trampolines. Stella is a speedracer, with only tights and a skirt on she flew down the slide and if we weren’t there to catch her she’d shoot out of the slide and across the floor. The boys had the brakes down though. As they got to the bottom, heals down and break.

It was a lot of fun to watch as the three interacted, jumping and chasing each other. At the beginning they were still pretty separate. The boys jumping on one trampoline and Stella on the other, but by the end of the day all three of them were together.

An interesting observation was in the Nerfball pen. This really is for bigger kids but with the two dads in charge what could go wrong?

Through compressed air you can shoot baseball size nerf balls across this pen to your apponents. Daniel was in the pen getting the palls for the kids. Sydney and Spencer gladly pushed the firing button, sending the balls flying around their Papa. And if there wasn’t a ball in the gun, they would throw them through the window.

Stella on the other hand didn’t like it all at. I aimed for her, Daniel held up is harms to be a target but with all my coaxing, she wouldn’t push that trigger button.

Faceoff

Interesting.

I’m not sure what to make of it just yet.

Is it a girl thing?

Is it nonviolent tendencies?

Is it the lack of exposure to guns?

Was she just intimidated by the device?

I don’t know but it will be interesting to see what she does the next time we are there.
