Quality Time

I guess this is one of those times that experienced parents talk about.

It makes you forget the struggles you’ve had in recent days.

Like in golf, that hole in one that makes you forget all the times you came up short, over shot, sliced to far. This is what keeps you coming back.

Sunday was a gorgeous.

Stella and I had the opportunity to spend a good 1.5 hours together,

Just the two of us.

We went for a walk

Found a bridge

Stared at the water

Sat down together

Threw pebbles in the water

Changed spots for a different view

Found larger stones to throw into the water

Just hung out

Continued to throw stones, attempting to change the water’s flow

Carried her back on my shoulders

A lot wasn’t said

Words weren’t necessary

It was magical

Just quality Father/ Daughter time

I soaked it up

She most likely won’t remember

I’ll never forget

Hope this is only a taste of what is to come.

My plot

I'm supposed to go to bed but I don't want to.

What can I do?

Mommy already said that was the last book.

Daddy just brings me a tissue if I ask to blow my nose.

I Know!

I say I have to pee.

Mommy will do anything to get me to sit on that silly little green potty thing.

Ha, I've squeezed out another 15 minutes and still haven't peed.

But I know I'm walking a fine line.

Look mommy's got bright red cheeks.

Uh, oh here comes daddy.

Good night!

Mommy's an A$$ .-P

Conversation the last few mornings on the way to day-care:

Stella: Mommy, arm
Mommy: Can't you walk?
Stella: MOMMY, ARM!
Mommy: What am I, your pack mule?

Yesterday, heading upstairs to bed:
Stella: Mommy, Arm
Mommy: Stella, I can't always carry you.
Stella: Mommy, Eeeaaw

Portraits

It's been a while since I posted some pictures.
Here are a few Portaits I have taken over the last month.
