Hay is for horses

Every American knows this phrase.

It is a part of growing up.

I’m sure every parent has wished they had a nickel for every time they have said this.

Our household is no different.

We say it jokingly but we still try and get a point across.

It seems to have worked too.

Sometimes, after blurting out “hey” Stella will tell us that hay is for horses.

And under certain circumstances she will correct you.

“Hay is for horses, not ey”
